Shell,
Alot of folks wait to plant Holiday themed boxes right around they holiday and pull them after a certain amount of time. I know Scarab has "It's a Holiday" box which he changes the stamp in for certain holidays. Miz Scarlet last year did The Twelve Days of Christmas (or boxes of xmas, not sure which) which was a limited time series.
PA Smith has permission from a bookstore in Willow Grove Mall in PA to hang out there. As each holiday approaches he posts clues and secret words then hangs out at the bookstore for people to show up for an exchange. He doesn't have a car so I thought this was a pretty inventive way to still participate in the hobby.
I'll bet there will be many more Halloweeen boxes popping up as we get closer to October.
